How to Get a Free Eye Exam for Your Service Animal

Throughout the month of May, service animals, which include guide, handicapped assistance, detection, military, search and rescue, and registered therapy animals, are being honored for their work with free eye exams from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO). This is the 7th Annual AVCO National Service Animal Eye Exam Event. Anticipating a lot of Offers in Compromise this Year?

It has been reported that there is a tax gap of $385 billion between taxes owed and taxes not collected; and $450 billion between taxes owed and taxes not voluntarily reported. The latter figure excludes taxes collected after IRS enforcement activity.

The IRS Data Book reports that for the Fiscal Year 2012, the IRS accepted 24,000 Offers in Compromise (OIC) out of the 64,000 submitted. So, 38% were accepted, but 62% were not.

You may be busier than you thought. And generating more business. Take a look how you can.

Star Wars Plot, Taxation Drama & Pugs (just for fun)

Rarely is there an area that combines many facets of my life. Well, I've found a nice hub in this post. Just some fodder as you celebrate "MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU".

Did you know in the Star Wars Saga that:

The Tax Levy Bill was a bill debated by the Galactic Senate sometime between the Invasion of Naboo and the Clone Wars. It proposed raising taxes to help deal with pirates rading hyperroutes. However, some feared that the money would be used for less important measures. Jar Jar Binks voted against it.

The Imperial Taxation Bureau was the government body under Emperor Palpatine that was responsible for collecting taxes from Imperial citizens, as well as setting tax rates.

The Holy Ugor Taxation Collection Agency, abbreviated as HUTCA, was an organization founded by Ugors, a unicellular sentient species indigenous to a planet in the Paradise system.
